Mr. Leonard Nqoko is a very dedicated geologist with more than 6 years of experience in consulting as far as DMRE applications are concerned. His career started as a trainee geologist at Imbabala Coal in Ermelo area where he was mainly responsible for exploration activities at the mine and also ensuring that compliance is adhered to by the drilling team in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act. In 2013 he was then employed by the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy as an intern Mine Economist in Witbank area for a duration of one year where he was exposed to various mines around Mpumalanga Province.

He possesses a four-year degree in geology and he also completed modules in mine surveying with the University of South (Mineral Exploitation (PD), Engineering Management II Module A, Engineering Management II Module B and Engineering Management Module III. Mr. Nqoko is currently registered for a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in environmental management with the University of South Africa. His areas of interest in geology includes but are not limited to the following:

  • Geological Modelling and Resource estimation
  • Exploration geophysics
  • GIS and Remote Sensing

Ms Dlamini is a driven and highly focused Environmental Assessment Practitioner with 8 years experience in the field of Environmental Science & she has worked for companies like NCC Environmental Services as an Environmental Manager for Kusile and Medupi Power Station projects.Ms Dlamini possess a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Environmental and Water Sciences from the University of the Western Cape and an MSc degree in environmental management from the University of Johannesburg

Mr. Mhlonipheki Brilliance Mabhena

Mhlonipheki Brilliance Mabhena, is a registered professional geologist with SACNASP (Pr.Sci.Nat Reg.No.400368/13) geology science practice, and a registered member of the Geological Society of South Africa (GSSA.Reg.No.965655) with more than 10 years post graduate experience. His niche and areas of competencies include mineral exploration, environmental management, economic geology, resource estimation and advanced geostatistics using VulcanTM mine planning software.

He is familiar with multiple stages of gold, base metals, alluvial diamonds, platinum, REE elements, and Uranium, vanadium-magnetite, phosphates, chromite, limestone and coal exploration. He holds a BSc. (Honours) in geology from the University of Venda, South Africa. Brilliance Mabhena is a competent person (CP) to evaluate, estimate and signoff on coal, gold & copper resources in compliance with international reporting standards for reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves. Miss. Nomcebo Khoza (Geologist)

Miss. Nomcebo Khoza graduated at the University of Pretoria with a BSc in geology and she has 3 years of experience in mining geology. She has worked for La Brie Colliery as a geologist in Ermelo area where she was mainly responsible for core logging, sampling, supervision of diamond drilling exploration, geological data collection and interpretation, planning and implementation of exploration projects. She also worked for Baberton Gold Mines as an intern geologist responsible for the following task:

  • Geological Mapping.
  • Underground drilling and core logging.
  • Reserve estimation and mine planning.
  • Sampling and grade control.
  • Data capturing on StopeCad and Geologger.
